The survey, which included feedback from 457 Norfolk County residents, was completed through a partnership between Norfolk County's economic development department in collaboration with Workforce Synergy.

"Happy, healthy workers are the foundation upon which successful communities are built," said the report, which was presented to Norfolk councillors at a recent council-in-committee meeting by Danette Dalton and Wynona Mendes of Workforce Synergy.

Based on data collected by Statistics Canada this year, Norfolk County residents have similar levels of life satisfaction (34.5 per cent) when compared to those across the province (35.5 per cent) but stand slightly lower than the Canadian average (40.4 per cent).
