Interment will be held at Keystone Cemetery, followed by a reception at the church. Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM, also on Saturday prior to the funeral service.
Jay was born on June 23, 1949, the daughter of Frank and Helen (Wilde) Hellwig. On December 11, 1965 she was united in marriage to Tim Feuerbach at St. John Lutheran Church in Keystone.
Jay was the center of her family's world, and they were hers. Her infectious joy is what will be missed the most. You would always find her with the most beautiful, contagious smile. Jay was full of life and always on the go. Her favorite thing was spending time with and attending all her grandkids' events. Jay was an avid reader and never left a page unturned when a book was given to her. She was extremely passionate about her work as a nurse and her love for nursing transformed the lives of everyone she cared for and worked with over the past 48 years. Jay's lifelong career inspired the next generation of nurses and healthcare providers, as five of her grandchildren followed in her footsteps. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church and the Nursing Honor Guard at St. Luke's Hospital. Above all she was always there for her family, as they were the most cherished and important people in her life.
She is survived by her husband Tim Feuerbach, children, Kandi (Jayme) Busta of Atkins, and their children, Kasey (Drew) Trumbull, Danielle Busta, and Taylor (Brennan) Pace; Kelli (Todd) Ehlen of Blue Springs, Missouri, and their children Brandon (Alyssa), Allison (Austin), Lexi, Afton, and Zack (JoDee) Ehlen; TJ (Ashley) Feuerbach of Sycamore, Illinois, and their children Paxton and Cameron Feuerbach; great-grandchildren, Kollyns, Dawson, Kannon, and Koehyn Trumbull, Lovelyn and Baby Pace, Harlow and Eivan Ehlen, Jace and Sawyer Childress, Liam and Brantley Jons; along with mother-in-law Joyce Feuerbach, sister-in-law Amy (Dean) Wilgenbusch and their children, Jack, Millie, and Liz Wilgenbusch.
She is preceded in death by her parents, great-grandchild Poppy Ranae, and her beloved dog Webster.
She is so loved and will be dearly missed by all that knew her.
