CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - Cleveland firefighters responded to a mattress fire in an apartment building downtown Sunday morning.
Lt. Mike Norman of Cleveland Fire confirmed with 19 News that units responded around 8:30 a.m. for a mattress fire in an occupied apartment.
According to Norman, sprinklers put out the fire.
The damage amounts to about $50,000 from the water damage.
Although there were no injuries reported, Norman said the chief on scene was not able to locate the tenant.
