The city of Pooler lifted its boil water advisory Friday night for all users of its water system, according to a city press release.
Users no longer need to boil water for drinking, cooking or food preparation. The city flushed and tested its water supply to verify it's safe for consumption.

Pooler issued the boil water advisory Friday morning after detecting E. coli in one of its 20 water sample sites on Dec. 12. The city predicted the E. coli presence was isolated to a single site and likely an isolated incident, according to reporting by the Savannah Morning News.
