ELDR Restaurant in North Asheville closes due to Helene challenges

ASHEVILLE, N.C. (WLOS) -- ELDR Restaurant in North Asheville has announced its permanent closure, citing challenges posed by Hurricane Helene and a prolonged delay in reopening afterward.

In a heartfelt message, the restaurant posted to Facebook on Thursday, Jan. 9 to express gratitude to its team, friends, patrons and vendors for their support over the last two-and-a-half years.

In the post, the restaurant urged the community to continue supporting local businesses, particularly those in the service industry. They also encouraged contributing to the Always Asheville Fund and Lift All Boats Inc., which are organizations providing grants to local businesses.

Despite the closure, the post hinted at future endeavors, stating: "We will be hosting some pop-ups and are available to cater private events. This isn't the end for us!"
