Scarlett Johansson Forced to Watch Michael Che Humiliate Colin Jost

About twice a year on "Weekend Update," co-anchors Michael Che and Colin Jost will write jokes for each other, and every single time Che makes Jost regret it.

This time was no different. Not only did Che start off by forcing Jost to read all the cue cards in a "Black voice," but he invited Jost's wife, Scarlett Johansson (who appeared earlier in the show as part of host Martin Short's Five-Timers Club sketch) to watch as Jost read Che's jokes about her.

"I want to dedicate this next joke to my boo, Scarlett Johansson," said a very uncomfortable Colin Jost. "Y'all know Scarlett just celebrated her 40th birthday, which means I'm about to get up out of there. Shizzzz."

The camera kept cutting back to Johansson's shocked reaction. But of course, Che didn't stop there.

"Nah, I'm just playing," a red-faced Jost read from the cue cards. "We just had a kid together, and y'all ain't seen no pictures of him yet, because he Black as hell."

On the bright side for Jost, he did manage to make Che squirm with a dark joke about the rape allegations against rapper Jay-Z.

"I would be remiss if I didn't address the allegations about Jay-Z," said Che, startled. "Some people are afraid to talk about it, but not Mikey 'The Truth Bomb' Che, so here it is: Jay-Z is innocent. He wasn't at those parties, and I know because I was."

Che powered through the joke, saying, "And Diddy, if you're listening: we're bad boys for life. When it comes to the charges against you, I'll say the same thing I always said at your parties: I will help get you off."

As always though, Che got the last laugh. For the segment's final joke, he made Jost return to the topic of his wife, who was still watching him.

"Nah, for real though," Jost said. "Costco has removed the roast beef sandwich from its menu, but I ain't tripping: I've been eating roast beef every night since my wife had the kid."

"Oh my god!" exclaimed Johansson off-stage.

Jost finished, "I'm just playing, baby. You know I don't go downtown."
