SCHERERVILLE -- The Schererville Police Department was dispatched Dec. 9 for a possible theft in progress regarding two men driving a silver Ford truck.
After police conducted a traffic stop, an investigation by the Criminal Investigations Division revealed the subjects had taken 1,600 gallons of used grease from local restaurants without permission from the owners.
