As the Texans hope to end the campaign on a high note ahead of a postseason run, the Titans are looking to do everything possible to get in their way. These efforts are far from subtle, as the team plans to wear their old Houston Oilers look as they host the city they once called home.

On Jan. 1, the Titans changed their profile picture on X to the Oilers logo. They also changed the banner on their profile to include the logo and the message: "The Oilers are back."

The meaning of these hints was confirmed by Titans team website writer Jim Wyatt, who formally confirmed that the Titans would wear the threads in their Week 18 game against Houston.

The team first introduced the Oilers throwback uniforms ahead of the 2023 season. This will be the first time they've worn them this year.

This isn't the first time the Titans have worn them hosting the Texans, either. Last season, the Titans wore the threads in their Week 15 game against the Texans, a game that Houston won in a 19-16 overtime thriller.

Back in Week 12, the Titans beat the Texans in their first matchup of the season, stealing a game in Houston by a score of 32-27.
