Consol boys soccer team routs Willis to conclude Aggieland Classic

The Consol boys soccer team finished the Aggieland Classic with a 2-1 record after downing Willis, 3-0 on Saturday at Tiger Stadium.

The Tigers downed Fort Bend Clements, 6-0 on Thursday and fell to back-to-back 6A state champion, Katy Seven Lakes, 4-3 on Friday.

Consol (4-1-1) got a brace from Will Ferris, while Kian Dekkers got the other goal. André Isar assisted, while Adrian Bargas and Hagin Chemlar shared a clean sheet in goal.

The Tigers will kick off District 17-5A play with Rudder on Jan. 24 at 7:30 p.m.
