Death In Paradise season 14 is almost ready to begin so exactly when will it start and who is to star in this Christmas special?
Death In Paradise has been entertaining BBC viewers with its string of quirky detectives and head scratching investigations for the past 13 years and shows no signs of slowing down any time soon.
Not only has the cosy crime drama been transformed into a franchise with the start of Beyond Paradise and Australia's Return to Paradise, the original show has been renewed for season 14.
And with Death In Paradise making a comeback, here's all there is to know about its return, including who is taking over from actor Ralf Little.
As with the past few series, a Christmas special of Death In Paradise is on the way to kick off the latest series which will continue sometime in the New Year.
The Death In Paradise Christmas special 2024, and subsequently the premiere episode of series 14, will air on Sunday, December 22, at 8.30pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.

American fans are going to have to wait a little longer for the same episode, however, as the instalment will be released on Britbox in the US on New Year's Eve, December 31.
As of yet, it isn't clear exactly when Death In Paradise season 14 will continue for the rest of the series following the debut episode.
It was at the end of series 13 that fans said their goodbyes to DI Neville Parker (played by Ralf Little) as he left with DS Florence Cassell (Josephine Jobert) by his side.
The upcoming 14th series will see new detective DI Mervin Wilson, played by actor Don Gilet, take over, bringing some fresh energy to the show after Little's four-year stint.
Actor Don Gilet is probably best remembered for starring as Lucas Johnson in EastEnders, as well as DS Nicky Cole in 55 Degrees North and Jesse Law in Holby City.
As expected, the usual suspects are to be by Mervin's side including Don Warrington as The Commissioner, Shantol Jackson as Naomi, Elizabeth Bourgine as Catherine, Ginny Holder as Darlene and Danny John-Jules as Dwayne.
Sadly, actress Jobert has already confirmed that she wouldn't be returning as Florence following her and Neville's departure from Saint Marie.
As with every episode, there will be a number of guest stars welcomed to the sandy shores and the Christmas special is no different.
Joining the regular cast for the festive episode include The Wives' Angela Griffin, Happy Valley's Steven Hartley, Supacell's Michael Salami, Doctors' Dex Lee and Ghosts' Jim Howick.
