Dalton Christal's mighty skills showcased at tiny trailer on Morrilton's east side

The outskirts of Morrilton might not seem like a place where you'd find extraordinary Texas-style brisket served up on the regular. But that's exactly what you get when you pull up at Salty Dalty's, a one-man food truck run by Dalton Christal. The name, which sprouted from joshing from his friends, is getting a lot of fame across the River Valley as people encounter a product that's created with a firm eye on excellence.

Christal set up in the parking lot across from McNeal Farms Premium Meat Market and Number Nine Liquor off Arkansas Highway 9 - a spot close to his home, but also in an ideal community.

"I grew up in a small town where everybody knew each other and it was a tight knit community," he shares.
